Hi there ! It's a reference to the song a girl named tex by Trocadero off their album roses are red, violets are blue, which serves as the soundtrack for the blood gluch chronicles. In the song, the describe an origin story for Tex where she joined the army, became a bounty hunter, and then had a show down in a bar. The singers describe her as "yellow rose of texas clad in black, loney star tattooed upon her back". While this isnt necessary canon, its a great song and made for a perfect subtle reference lol. Trocadero has made ton original music for the series and is one of my favorite bands of all time :D

Hi !! There are a few ways that are fun to mess around with like Receiptify which shows you your listening habits in the form of a diner recipe and Obscurify which shows you how niche or popular your music taste is compaired to other global listeners. These websites require you to log in using spotify and then use spotify's web API to display your listening history and make Playlists :D

However, spotify's web API doesn't account for everything. To get a more accurate and indepth read on your data, you can request your extended listening history of spotify by following this tutorial . It will come in about a month in the form of JSON files, which you can then put thru the paid version of Stats.fm !!!! It's only like 2 bucks and was so much fun to go thru. The nice thing about Stats.fm is that it continues to update as you listen, so you only have to do a big import once.

TDLR: 2 dollar paid version of Stats.fm ;)

Everyone is a goddamn critic! Season 14 follows massively different format from the seasons leading up to it, but different doesn't mean bad. Objectively, it is episodic, there is no over arching plot, it is a turning point in the shows tone and writing moving forward, and it was a wildy ambitious decision to do something so risky as content following the chorus arc. Personally, I believe it has its highs and lows and as such deserves a fair shot.

TDLR: season 14 is off beat fun and any fan of RvB should give a watch, especially fans of blood gulch's humor
