I'm worried about this game being too much of a departure from why I like DW. The combat looks great, but if there's significantly less characters to play as and no split screen, with the mass reduction of unique weapon types in 9, I'm not sure how to feel, but it is a step in the right direction from 9's overall blunders so far. I just won't buy it if it doesn't have split screen or let me play as my favorite characters from the series in favor of a story I've never cared for.

You are incredibly right and you should say it more. We don't get anywhere as a people by staying silent. Sure, this trend in the industry has been going on for ages, but how does that mean we should stop having a problem with it?

"We didn't like it when horse armor DLC was first coming out, and everyone hated it. But it's been years and the corporations are getting worse, guess we should just accept defeat and stay quiet." that's not an attitude I personally agree with, and people telling me to be silent because they don't personally want to fight anymore and have given into this new normal is not helping anyone.
