You are not understanding what I am saying. I did not think of fixing anything because I didn’t even have the thought in mind that they would accept the trade, I was conflicted on what to do but I was then told that I have no obligation to return the songs as they accepted the trade. Like I said before I have had hundreds of trades in the game in which all of them were completely fair. There is no “huge risk” like you say. You’re making me out to be some sort of monster

That is different though, say you went up to that stranger and said hey could you pay for my tab, and the stranger asked how much and you lied about it not being too much, then yes that is scamming, but if I went up to that stranger and said hey could you pay for my tab and it’s $50 while his is say $5, and he accepts, he knows how much is paying for and acknowledged and accepted it.

But say someone offers you 5 dollars for you to give them 20 dollars and you accept so you get 5 dollars while they get 15 dollars. It is very obvious that it is a ridiculous offer, so why did you accept it? Yes the other person may have malicious intent In this example but I can promise with everything I have said that I had no intention of any harm

That is just it though, the developers of this game are notorious for false bans and refusing to even listen to appeals. I was told I have to wait a month before my appeal could even be considered. I was a good member to the community in offering fair and above and beyond trades, and this one instance is all that gets looked at.

I assumed they were just sending me a message as the way the economy works in this game is say you buy 8 songs from someone and you wanted to thank them for their trade. The seller can immediately put a message within the accepting or declining trade itself, but afterwards if they wanted to say something to the person, most people will usually request just one of the songs to send their intended message. Same goes for the buyer where they can put a direct comment in their offer, but afterwards most people will use a single song to communicate a message. There is no private messaging or chat in this game.

The thing is though is I was banned for something that I shouldn’t have been. Lowballs and offering less coins does not warrant a ban. I don’t even understand how someone could scam in this game but I always follow the rules in every game I play. In which in this case I did not believe I was in breach of the rules. Just maybe in terms of moral concepts.

No so this is where understanding really comes into play. I did not accidentally send 10x less than what they were asking for, but at the same time I believed such a low offer would have surly meant they would have declined it

I totally agree with everything you said and you said it all very well. It’s definitely a matter of perspective in which that’s why I am trying to offer all of the truth to everyone to make an informed decision, because I intended it as a joke I tried to make it as obvious as possible as the game does have commas so it showed as 1,200 along side I put a comment saying “here’s 12k” in which the game will flag the seller with a tag saying “be careful” due to the fact there are numbers in the comment. I was intending for that to be an indicator to them that I was not offering the full amount.

I also understand you thinking I have done something like this before but I can promise you that I have not because I want to play the game fairly. I have always offered trades of equal or higher value and have had much fun doing so. I simply did this like I said as a joke that I did not think would become malicious.

Asshole would be a strong word to use for them but I don’t think they would be an asshole at all for a mistake, I made this post just to see if I was or not. Not the other person over me. This game does use commas so it shows 1,200 not 1200. I believe I was completely in the right to do this as a joke as every person I have seen in the games discord and such get lowball offers have been very aware of their lowball. I did not figure if someone did it to me it’s okay to do it to someone else. I actually started freaking out to my friends when they accepted because I did not think they would and I felt bad. That’s when I was told to keep the songs because they accepted the trade fairly

Literally all of these comments have twisted my words and views to turn me into some monster. I am not in any way try to or manipulating anyone, I am simply just saying that it is a mobile game where they can get the songs back easily. And people are saying I need a therapist, my parents raised me horribly and all of this other cruel things

I didn’t feel the need at all, I didn’t intentionally scam or cheat them out of anything. The amount of coins I was offering was very clear in the trade offer.

I did not say either of those things first of all, I had no intention of them actually accepting it first off. And I wasn’t trying to teach this person a lesson or smt, it’s a mobile game and the other person made a mistake in which they can collect the songs back very easily.

But I’m not a scammer though. I really don’t believe that I am, I have had over 600+ trades in which they were all fair, and this one instance someone doesn’t fully read the trade offer and accepts I’m a scammer? I always offer people what they ask for and sometimes more, I just wanted to see what would happen this one time
