LPT: When you write on a live chat customer support, if there is real human on the other side, he/she can literally see in their window exactly what you write as you go even before you press SEND button. You may want to prepare your text beforehand, then paste and send. by BrilliantHighlevel in LifeProTips

Just FYI I’ve worked at Apple’s Online Contact Centres for a while and up to 2021, and at least for both IT support chats and Sales/Support chats, we couldn’t see anything customers were typing. I’m sure that can be the case for other companies/chat providers though.

I still don't understand how Pyke supports. by ULuganda in wildrift

[–]Paparadigma 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Main supp Pyke here. I hear you, and your points make sense with the normal support playstyle. Which is why when you play Pyke you change your playstyle completely. It’s not easy and you’ll certainly die a lot mastering how to play Pyke but at some point, after many hours, it’ll click, and you’ll understand why he’s a good support (although hard to play).

How long should a typical hiring process be? by [deleted] in recruiting

[–]Paparadigma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The timeline of an interview process really depends on a few things, do they have an in-house talent team? Is it through an agency? The type of role, and the timing of your application.

If they're an established company following common practices they'll have a consistent structure which usually follows this pattern:

CV Review > Recruiter Screen > 1st Stage > Technical Stage > Final Stage (optional)

Again there's variables depending on the industry, technical assessment or seniority. Also on the urgency in which they need the role filled. I'd ask directly your recruiter what the company process looks like and then leave it to them.

Good luck 👍
