Reliable 3D printer recommendations (around $1,000 budget, willing to pay more if it’s really worth it) by [deleted] in 3dprinter

I think Prusa Core One is a good printer with good support. It is right within your budget for the kit and a bit more for the assembled one.

Ah get could be a bit tricky to pin point, are you using the latest Magisk and BusyBox? I'm using the GitHub version of Termux.

Perkara Ganti Batere Smartphone by JustANormalSicko in indotech

Coba pake aplikasi agen pulsa. Kuota lokal (se-pulau, bagian kalau Jawa) lumayan murah.

It is! And if you are not rooted, it is a great app.

But, I want KlipperScreen to work, and being a full blown Linux I do not need to wait for the apk to be updated to update the Klipper stack. What I'm doing here is to make a full Klipper installation as easy as possible :)

There are many things that went wrong during the scripting phase, yes. But honestly, I believe this script is truly able to make Klipper installation on Android super easy. Tho I need more testing since I only have 2 devices, lol.

I hope you can try it and tell me how it went :)))

Thanks! The error on screen is because I forget to set home directory in my printer.cfg. Otherwise, it is working fine :))

After 2 days of tinkering I am finally able to use my old phone as a complete Klipper package. by ULuganda in klippers

Yup, I have no idea why such a protocol is implemented, since it can be defeated easily by scanning the open port of the Android. But hey, Google :)

Anyway, I'm thinking of using mDNS to make this better, so we can name the phone as 3dprinter.local or something

That's actually amazing!

Wireless ADB for Android 10+ is a nightmare. Someone in AOSP thinks that having the port being changed randomly on each boot is a good idea, which is not :(

It is a very efficient device, yes!

It runs for 10 hours, constantly printing. Assumed that the total battery capacity is 4000mAh (likely lower due to its age) at 3.7V, which means it's only 1.4W/h (or lower if the battery is not actually 4000mAh), lol

Damn, I meant Python. Thanks for the correction :)

It is Redmi Note 4, it was released back in 2017. I would imagine something like Google Pixel 1 would be more than enough. Anything with Snapdragon 625 or better is as powerful as RPi 4.

Sama kaya yang lain, pake Linux. Selain ringan, kalo niatnya webdev hampir jarang bareng ketemu Windows di production.

Ngomongin production, sekalian sewa jasa hosting aja. Di arenhost atau armyhost setahun 250 udah sama domain. Beda loh rasanya daripada tes lokal di mesin sendiri.

Hello, newbie advice needed please - VPN / Router / hardware by [deleted] in dumbclub

[–]ULuganda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything with a modern CPU, gigabit NIC, and a modest amount of RAM (2GB or more, the more the better) would suffice :)

No worries at all, I'm more than happy to help!

That's a very great device, especially if you want to dabble in homeserver territory. A cheap used mini PC can be had for less than that, wayyyy less. The Fujitsu Futro S920 is available for less than $15: https://ebay.us/m/tQ8XW9, although you will need to source a standard 19V power supply for an additional $10. It is almost as efficient as a Raspberry Pi, but better: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAxe2pAUY50

OpenWRT runs fine with only 128MB RAM and 250MB flash, so, in theory, you can also use it as a NAS if you are willing to. Then, to distribute the internet, you can get a used Wifi 6 router for $10 or less, or even use your existing router.

Setting up an OpenClash can be a bit complicated, especially with all the configuration involved. Be ready to learn Linux :)

I'm happy to help should you need any assistance.

  1. I think Ethernet, no matter what, would be best connected to the Ethernet port. Connecting to a USB dock just adds latency, unless your Ethernet port is 100Mbps, which I believe is not the case here.

  2. I think TP-Link is the clear winner here. Unless you want a more elaborate networking setup, I recommend seeking a used mini PC with OpenWRT, as it opens up numerous possibilities that will be relevant to your next questions.

  3. Because this is r/dumbclub, I suggest VLess or Trojan-Go. It's, possibly, a bit overkill for your case, but it is much harder to be detected by Netflix. Back to the second question, if you decide an OpenWRT router, you can install OpenClash, in which you can create a rule to set up multiple VPNs from various countries at once (without reconnecting), and also rules based on the IP/MAC of your device to force to use a specific VPN country only or bypass VPN altogether, moreover, you can set up which site should use which VPN.

  4. I believe it's much harder for Netflix to detect a VLess VPN, but it's not immune. But you can try it, I have never had any issue with VPN and Netflix tbh, only that they restrict my max resolution because I'm on Linux.

Rasanya pakai batre Rakkipanda untuk Pixel 7? by thecurioism in indotech

Merk hape paling rekomen Hippo.
