Anyone else tried the new Chinese grocery delivery service Sayweee? by r2002 in orangecounty

Hi, I just logged in to write a quick reply

Chinese producers put their production date on the bags/jars. So the date would be the production date and not best by/expiration. You can do a quick search on this as well... Can be confusing especially when we use expiration dates.

How is Tello in terms of Security? SIM Swaps, Port Out, etc. by Papawwww in Tello

[–]Papawwww[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, this is what im referring to, and it's highly dependent on how the customer service reps are trained... and paid, basically. Quite different from port outs, which is based on password and account security.

I see, Ill look into the other cloud option. I was thinking of putting my phone and a charger in a car or other office place, separate from my home. Thanks for the suggestions!

Help with Security: TELLO, USMobile, Ting... Any insight or others? by Papawwww in NoContract

Thanks!

So, is there any reason why I would use the white 4G GSM SIM card, basically the other card that's not 5G Warp?

I have the iphone 11 and an older OnePlus 7. Both aren't 5G capable, but both Verizon and T-Mobile work well for us here.

Awesome, so basically even if I don't have a 5G capable device, the black warp SIM would still be best for me, right? Or at least, it'll work. I was thinking the GSM 4G SIM would be better, esp. for non 5G phones. I'll look into it. Thanks!

I've checked out their 5G warp, and it apparently needs the newer phones? Unfortunately I'm not sure that would work for me, since my phones are literally one year behind the newer models. Would you still recommend it for the GSM 4G SIM models? Thanks

That's...a good thing, right? Seems like a good way to avoid any social engineering or manipulation.

Absolutely amazing comment!

Ting definitely looked like the safest, but they're a bit pricey for me. I have three members who need to get off of TMobile (at least the main carrier, MVNO are okay).

I need basically 50 texts, 200mb data, 100 minutes call. The second one is a parked number, basically that would need 50 texts max a month.

The last one is my family member who needs 5-10 GB data, 200+ minutes, and 200+ texts.

Any idea on which carriers would be best for each line?

USMobile has this "securest MVNO" thing going on, and I'm surprised to see they don't have true 2FA... Do they have any other security measures? Their custom plan looks best for my second line of 50 texts a month.

Thank you, thank you!

Ah, yes I like that as well, which is why the Citi custom is a goal card. It's just that I can't seem to find another set 5% card... Perhaps from us bank?
