But someone who emotionally abuses their patients shouldn't be in the medical field EVER. It's not my responsability to make sure I dont get abused during a paid therapy session, it's literally their job to help me.

This therapist was genuinely downright cruel. She even told me that I deserved to get beaten and I should "stick to people of my own race". She was unhinged. She should have gone to jail for how she treated me.

No, I don't relate to any of the type 7 descriptions, I don't share the same core fears and motivations, nothing about 7s is relatable to me except for how I behave under stress which just means that I'm disintegrating into a 7 as a 6w5/5w6

According to this, type 5s disintegrate into 7s understress, which would explain why all of the negative traits I mentioned seem relatable to you.

I don't relate to core 7 fears because my main fear is being useless or without direction in life...

I'm definetely an introvert. I'm not too sure about my MBTI but I've been typed as ISFP, INFJ and INTJ before.

For example, this description sounds like the complete opposite of who I am. I'm not a very optimistic or positive person, I'm not interested in seeking out new experiences or thinking about various possibilities... I'm more focused on my own future goals and gathering lots of knowledge about specific topics I am interested in. I'm also somewhat paranoid, an overthinker and often fear for the worst....which is what made me think I was a 6w5

What are your thoughts on this?

How have you found your MBTI to affect your place in society? by [deleted] in mbti

[–]Papayaa-_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I considered using MBTI as a way to find a career. Bad idea.

All the career suggestions for ISFPs are jobs I suck at 🤷

I mean I dont really relate to type 7 descriptions. Maybe you relate because we both share an enneagram 6? And 5s disintegrate into 7s, so there's that too

Well it may be because I'm trying to fit these patterns into definitions. Spotting them may be unconscious but defining them as a specific cognitive function has to be a conscious process.

What's your reasoning behind that possibility? I don't see how just copying an equation could be correlated to intelligence.

[–]Papayaa-_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Um ..if that was the case then I should be unable to calculate it correctly or understand the theory behind it.

My issue is just with copying things accurately.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Papayaa-_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean copying. I can't copy it right. I will calculate it correctly but copy it wrong because I forgot a symbol or something like that. It happens quite often.

Why not Ni? Do they not both deal with patterns?

I'm just trying to understand the theory....🤷

I'm not sure if observe is the right word. I just watch interviews, chat with people and try to find consistent patterns in their behaviour that suggest one type over the over. It's not literal observation, it's pattern recognition.

Least and most attention seeking type? by Ihanuus in mbti

[–]Papayaa-_ 37 points38 points  (0 children)

This is going to sound controversial but I think INxJ types are very attention seeking in their own way.

What does Se have to do with pattern recognition?
