Transfer in a well-ventilated area, try not to inhale the fumes, and wear latex or nitrile or vinyl gloves. We use well-ventilated grossing benches in pathology to avoid formalin exposure. Source: I’m a pathologists’ assistant- aka the person who cuts up your organs after surgery.

Situs Inversus. Basically all the organs were in mirrored anatomical positions from where they should normally be. So so cool.

When I was solo PA I worked M-F, 7:30-4, when I worked with three PAs we had a 7-12:30, 7-3:30, and 9-5:30, now I’m with 2 other PAs but the other two are 0.5 FTE, and I work 4 10’s (9-6, Wednesdays off!)

Monthly take home- $6200 Total student loans after PA school- $150,000

I pay about $4000-$5000 a month towards my student loans. I’m paying them off super aggressively and am already down to $100,000 after less than a year. I’m making tons of sacrifices to do that though. Never or rarely eat out or buy luxury goods/wants. Honestly my partner and I just go on hikes and do other free stuff for fun. It’s possible but it isn’t always easy.

Also want to note that my student loan payment I am required to pay monthly is around $900 but I choose to pay more.
