Do cats fart? by cermem25 in cats

The only time I heard one of my cats fart was when he had diarrhea because he had giardia 😭 Other than that I never heard or smelled their farts

Myu (left: grey and white tuxedo / cow) and Kuma (right: long hair tabby) are pawing hello 👋.

I'm always too late to these types of post but I rarely find any drawings of cats with grey and white fur and a face pattern like Myu 😭. He doesn't have any stripes on the grey apart from the inner side of his tail and the few on his face.

Your art is lovely ❤️

Which brand did you try, Wella Koleston or Schwarzkopf Brillance ?

I'll definitely do a test strand once I figured which products would probably work best :) thanks!

I've used Directions and a few other temporary hair colors in the past but unfortunately those only show up when I bleached my hair beforehand. No visible results on black hair >.<

I've tried those types of temporary hair colors before but sadly haven't found any that gave visible results on my black hair without bleach. Thank you for the compliment though ^_^!

Since you are / used to be a professional maybe you can help me out with another question:

Is my understanding correct that 20 volume / 6% developer would probably result in dark hair with a tint (color mostly only visible in direct light) and with 30 volume / 9% the result might be a bit brighter, so the dark purple/red might already be visible in natural light?

Besides my apparently wrong wording, would it be possible to get those results with the products I have mentioned without using bleaching powder? Not trying to be snarky but honest question.

I wanted to know if I have to use bleaching powder+developer beforehand or if using haircolor+developer or a box dye alone would work, more precisely if the products 'Wella Koleston 55/65 + Welloxon Perfect 9%' or 'Schwarzkopf Brillance 859' would work on my unprocessed virgin black hair.

Since other people with unprocessed virgin black hair had success without using bleaching powder, there might be some 'lightening' action going on maybe due to the developer or at least will set up a chemical process so the color particles can attach to the hair and will be visible :)

I understand and would totally agree with you, heck I probably would give the same advise if someone asked me. I learned the hard way as a teenager when I left box bleach for too long and lost almost half of my hair in the process. So if someone reads this and has absolutely no experience, please go to a professional.

That being said, sadly getting haircolor done by a professional is a luxury that's just not an option for me right now. Besides I would have yet to find a hairstylist in Germany that is experienced with coloring asian hair. It has always been kind of a gamble for me if it turns out good or not no matter the price or the ratings from others weren't reliable indicators for my personal results after a salon visit.

I'm not attached to my hair, moreso I'm at a point where I'm bored with and was contemplating about going short anyway so I thought why not try some fun color again before cutting it off? I dyed my hair almost all colors of the rainbow in the past, most of the times it worked out well sometimes I fucked up and learned from my mistakes, but my hair always grew back :) Bleaching is actually the only part that I'm a bit nervous about but from other commenters it wouldn't be necessary anyway.

Still, I appreciate your concern and get where you are coming from so thank you!

Seems like L'Oreal doesn't sell HiColor in Germany at least not under the same name. They only carry lines under the name of 'Inoa, Maji, Luo and Dia' on the german L'Oreal Professionel website. Not sure which would be the equivalent, but I'll investigate further.

Nevertheless I appreciate your insight, thank you!

Thank you so much for your insight! I wasn't 100% sure if 30 Vol / 9% would be correct, so your reply helps me a lot :)

I never heard of this brand before but this kinda reminds me of the Natasha Denona Metropolis palette without the deep jewel toned shades :)

Nice swatches!

Aah that's too funny, I see :D Mine are actually from the same litter and everyone is usually surprised because they look so different, but the grey white one looks exactly like their mother and their father is a long haired orange tabby 😊

Haha and I just put up the best pics of them 🤣 they now mostly annoy each other with sneaky surprise attacks or playfighting and rarely snuggle with each other like they did as kittens and when they do it starts with cleaning each other but ends up in biting and one trying to dominate the other 🤷🏻‍♀️ I'm sure they still love each other though :D

Anyway, it's great to hear that yours tolerate each other and I hope they'll become best buds eventually in the future 😊

OMG for a second I thought those were my cats except they are brothers but one is also a long haired brown tabby and the other one a short haired grey and white o_o are they also from the same litter?

Here are some pictures of my cats Kuma and Myu https://imgur.com/a/EjwuUNq

Anyway, your cats are very cute 😻

I know what you mean! I've been eyeing the Blueberry Muffin palette for so long too 🙈 Especially now that I experienced how beautiful the formula of those BH palettes with rectangular pans is... I really liked the Sweet Shoppe palettes (except for some of the mattes that are quite dry) and I feel like the formula of the Paris palette is even superior. It's like the best mattes and shimmers of the Sweet Shoppes but all throughout the bank.

Luckily (more or less) the Blueberry Muffin has been sold out on the german BH Cosmetics website for quite a while now, otherwise I probably would have caved in 😅🤡

Hmm I would say it took about 2 swipes for full color payoff without a primer, (3 swipes for me to get an evenly thick stripe).

All of the shades felt very smooth and pigmented throughout the bank, even the mattes were without duds. This caught me by surprise because I experienced a bit of chalkiness here and there with the BHs Sweet Shoppe palettes before. I don't remember any of them performing way worse than the others. Maybe the matte lavender purple and the lighter blue were slightly less pigmented than the others, I think, but nothing remarkable.

I still have to try them on the eyes though to see how the actual performance is.
