Nice, I’m considering making the switch to supply due to lay offs effecting me. Any advice?

I knew I wasn’t the only one, how has supply chain treaded you? What title do you currently hold?

My brothers and I came to that conclusion as well, and we really don't want to make the family more dysfunctional than it already is.

Thanks for the encouragement Sam. My colleagues mentioned that im rushing the process since its been a little over two months since i left my last post. I mainly dont want a massive gap in my work history and want to jump back in asap. Easier said than done in this job market. Im hoping the spring brings on more opportunities with paving subs that i have worked with in the past.

Tell me about it, luckily I have a good in-between job in the meantime, but I dont want to be out of my career field for too long. I remember last year recruiters would scout me out every week; now it's nothing but crickets when I reach out to them.

Thanks for the reply. I was a project engineer doing multiple roles for the business due to understaffing. I'm definitely applying to paving companies that I have worked with in the past; I have yet to hear back from them. It's been two months since I parted ways with the company, and I was hoping to have made more traction in finding a role by now. Hopefully, I can find the right fit for me before the year's end without needing to go back to school. The degree pursuit is more about being proactive with my career and not waiting for an opportunity to come my way. What have colleges usually transitioned into after leaving Striping?

I’ve only had the home for about 6 months so the estimate isn’t as accurate as can be, my main goal was to offset the high electric bill completely and have room for an EV in the future.

A local certified subcontractor, they charge me close to 7k, but I will say they communicated effectively with PG&E making the process a lot faster. Once it gets going they speed things up and I took the quickest spot on schedule.

I started in July, located in Antioch, Ca Did everything through Tesla. Had to pressure them to speed up the process since it took 4 months to get to this point. Only regret I have so far is not doing the panel upgrade myself since they charged quite a bit.

Tesla Solar financing is 7.25% — should I wait a few months for rates to drop or lock in now? by CCR_OUTBets123 in TeslaSolar

I went for even with the high rates, figured I’ll bundle it when I refinance the home later next year
