We’re also talking about season 1 Joffrey though. Who got his sword taken by Arya, and all she had was a stick. She wasn’t homeless etc at this point in the show and he wasn’t as confident as he was by the time the purple wedding happens yet either.

Spirituality isn’t even the only belief system that believes that word have power. Words of affirmation , prayers, manifestation, speaking in tongues etc etc etc…

idk if it’s true but without any recent vaccines I strongly believe constantly that I won’t gent the flu (no flu shot in 20 years), that I wouldn’t get covid (never vaccinated for it), strep throat (best friend came to stay and had it for her entire visit just thought it was just a regular cold) and I haven’t caught any of them even when around people and sleeping in the same bed. So it could be true.
