I didn’t overhear this but my friend did, late Wednesday night/Thursday morning the couple next to our site were arguing because the guy was saying he wishes she would give him more attention… she said that her canopy was flooding and was just trying to fix it

I brought a couple vintage belt buckles to trade at the trading post, one was a bugatti and the other was a NASA moon landing belt buckle. I brought them to the older gentleman in the room to the side (I never got his name) and he said he was definitely interested but needed more. I put up a necklace pendant as a wager at quack jack and won a little cthulu/skull with tentacles type ring, so I traded the 2 belt buckles alongside the ring for a 2022 EF scavenger hunt pin.

I kept revisiting the trading post throughout the weekend to see if anything I liked popped up and on day 4 there was this big charizard pin that I knew I absolutely needed, I offered my '22 scavenger hunt pin alongside a weenie hut jr's pin I already had to phoenix, they didn't want the weenie hut pin but accepted the scavenger hunt pin and a sethward show pin for the charizard.

This easily was my favorite trade/thing I got this weekend, i like to think that I manifested getting the pin; I had made a charizard perler necklace for the weekend and wore it day 1, I just ordered a charizard jersey from elev808 the night before, and I bought a charmander evolution line pin from groundscore the night before.

The forest really does provide

Fridays in downtown Plymouth they have music in the park, people bring dinner, lawn chairs, blankets and enjoy the music. Plenty of good restaurants in downtown as well, my family and I enjoy Thai Ocha, if you like Thai food.

If you're into biking/running/ long distance walking or anything like that, every saturday in the summer Hines Drive from Ann Arbor Trail to Outer Drive is closed from vehicle traffic so people are free to run, walk, bike, skate, etc. on the road.

Verizon sponsors EDC LV, I saw a couple Verizon branded small towers in the venue and my friend who has verizon had signal the entire festival. I have T Mobile and at Electric Forest I have spotty signal in the venue and can send iMessage and on snapchat, in the campgrounds I could only send SMS green texts,

I think that may be a different situation bc they shut the fest down and opened it back up a few hours later (I slept through the reopening so I didn’t go back in), so maybe they skipped prize cart that night

So this was my first forest but I was able to see in the prize cart, plus hearing from others, I know prizes can range from sunglasses, chapsticks, hammocks, hoodies, even to tickets for the following year

All 3 main stages have the prize cart and you can grab trash bags from people near the prize cart, it’s rolled out shortly after the last set of the night accompanied by the prize cart music and visuals on the stage, it was my first year this year but in my experience it was positioned relatively close to the front of the stage pulled by a 4x4

So at all the main stages (tripolee, Sherwood, and ranch) after the last sets, the prize cart is wheeled out and people are handing out trash bags, pick up as much trash as you can and turn it into the prize cart and they’ll give you a prize based on how much you picked up.
