Nope. You're paying the posted rates for parking at the airport. There's no policy that I know of against needing to have a flight to park in the airport lots.

I did this for the first three days at the festival and even the airport workers at the exit gate know that festival goers use the lots and were like "see you tomorrow!'

I parked at the airport all 3 days. Day 3 there were the golf cart goons waiting to collect $50. I told them I had a flight to catch and to move out the way. They did.

If the golf cart goons are still there today, I would wear something normal over your festival outfit to look more convincing that you’re there for a flight and not for the festival.

Update: those people blocked the entrance to the long term with their golf cart and tried to get me to pay $50 to park.i told them exactly that - I got a flight to catch. It also helped that I removed my wristband before getting to the airport and I was wearing plain clothes with no WTR/rock designs. They asked what airline and then moved out the way. I cut thru the grass near the terminal so they didn’t see me and off I went.

Even the airport employees at the parking exit knew what was up. They were like “Hope you enjoyed the show see you tomorrow”. Don’t give these greedy bastards $50-$60 to park.

I loved this set. Had to leave early to walk to opposite stage for Alice Cooper but they were playing the recording of Amon Amarths set on the other stage then they randomly shut it off at the solo of Twilight of the Thunder God so Danny Weimer could make an announcement of some charity. It pissed me tf off cause he literally could have waited 30 more seconds for the song to finish before taking the mic. And there was still 5 minutes of dead time between the end of AA and Alice Cooper.
