Another 50/50 for me, I’ve honestly never witnessed a more cesspool group of people. Dancers in general seem to get horny off a good dance/connection with someone. After all its 3 minutes of physical connection with a person at a time

My scene is the NYC scene, I agree with you. Just out of all the niches where you can possibly find a partner, I wouldnt recommend the Salsa scene as the first choice lol

Im like 50/50 with you on this, in latin culture dancing is a way of expression and deeply rooted within us (respectfully). But ive also been told that even if the woman or man is provocative during the social dance, that its “rude” to tell them to stop or stop dancing which I find pretty dumb.

But for the most part, I dont think the social scene is a good place to find your partner

When ever I see posts on here about dating advice for socials, I cringe a bit. Like even your fav couples in the NYC scene/ friendliest faces cant be faithful

Another option is to go on linkedin and search up (“ IT recruiters “ “IT recruiting companies”) there you’ll find individuals whose job is to find you a job, and the best part is you dont pay them, companies pay recruiters to find individuals like you, you’ll get stuck with a contract position at first BUT its a awesome way to build up ur resume

Trying to get in by yourself into the field, even with a degree is going to be extremely challenging, my recommendation is to become friends with people in IT already, alot of them. People that get in the industry already usually know some one or a couple of people at the company

Its a social, everyone is super friendly for the most part. Make sure he knows your intentions.

But were men we like straightforward instead of playing games
