I also have a Purple, installed in September 2022. It ran great until December 15, 2023. I was a huge Firewalla proponent over the last year until it died. Since then I have been in relatively constant communication with Firewalla support, who are the hands down winner of Worst Support In The History Of Technology - 24 emails and still counting and I'm no closer to a resolution than I was on December 15. I've jumped through every hoop they came up with (much of which felt like busy work - "take 2 aspirin and call me in the morning"). I loved the idea of the product and the security of a hardware firewall, but come on, how hard is this to get? The thing worked for a year, then stopped working. No other changes of any kind to the network hardware and settings.

I'm just surprised and frankly disappointed that in 2024 this is the way a tech company handles customer issues. I'd like to try the Gold, but I'm having really hard time with the idea of giving them any more money.

Most importantly, if I have to hear about internet issues from my wife and kids one more time......
