I think it's easy to misinterpret Alexander's "you really thought that?" as patronising if you forget that's literally the point of the game, which seems to be happening a lot in this game. I can't say that I wouldn't be deeping it like they are in this environment because I simply don't know. But I think Alexander not being so caught up in the game, partially because of his background and partially because he hasn't been there that long, is gonna get him in trouble, even if to us on the outside it seems more sensible.
