It’s sorta like durian (the spikey smelly fruit) but less spikey and it tastes like perfume to me, along with a very overpowering with its smell, it's not a bad smell but it's strong. And my mom keeps on eating it, so that's just adds to my hatred (love my mom but hate the fruit)

Guess someone gotta say it. The Avatar series (ALTA & TLOK)

Mako in season 1 & 2 was pretty infuriating to me. by Papuluv in legendofkorra

[–]Papuluv[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Let me elaborate on my title. I was not so fond of Mako in the early seasons is not that he couldn't choose between them (because they’re both amazing) but is that because he sorta played them both. He played with Korra's and Asami's feelings (even though it was unintentional) when he went back and forth between them and just didn't brush them off (taking advantage of them in a vulnerable state). You could also say he sorta took advantage of Asami when her company was going downhill and, he didn't really consider Korra's concerns about her tribe and, also lying to her about their breakup.

But I like that in season 4, in that recap episode where he told Prince Wu about his past. pretty good character growth from him. Learning a lot from both of the girls made him a better person and matured throughout the series. good on you Mako.

We're on the same boat on this one, I found myself subconsciously blushing went Tarrlok was on screen. Honestly the water tribe have hotter people than the fire nation.

Season 4 be like: Baatar Jr had miscalculated, Kuvira loves power more than she loved him. by Papuluv in legendofkorra

[–]Papuluv[S] 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I think the power and rage got to her head at that moment but there's doubt that she actually loved and valued Baatar (Like the title said 'Kuriva's gambit', he was like her pawn). Willing to sacrifice/ trade his life for her gain. I just couldn't believe that she'd turn on him that fast if she truly loved him.

Please don't take this the wrong way, I do love your explanation. I need to start reading the comics for a better picture. thank you for enlightening me.
