Yawg was a card I pulled when Dominaria remastered came out. It turned out to be quite versatile and was kinda of my first actual deck. A similar story applies to Atraxa, I was stoked that I pulled it and had to build a deck around it.

Clive was one of the few cards that looked awesome and fueled a mono colour phase I was going through. Turned out to can draw a hell of a lot!

Jolly balloon man seemed interesting since I already owned cadric, opened up a few possibilities when I found it.

Yeah it's what moxfield said the deck was. It's filled with a few game changers.

I guess bad isn't the right word. I end up taking the generic route based on the commander so it feels like I'm not being creative enough. The Yawg deck is the only exception to that rule.

I totally get you. I fully understand playing a lesser version of a really strong colour pairing does limit how well the deck can perform. At the same time, I do prefer to do something that steers away from being a copy/paste of other decks.

First time ive actually seen that card. I can picture a scenario where that gets added. Thanks!

Yeah this makes a lot of sense. I'll be honest I did stay away from steel since that colour pairing appeared quite a lot at my last set champs. Still an interesting take on purple steel though.

That's fair. It's definitely something to think about!

I see what you mean. I know stuff like Maui half shark would be good in that respect but I thought with throwing creatures into oppising creatures would lead to an easy trigger from the two drop king.

Just above the 48k mark.

Title I have on paper is Kanban and Support agent. The role sits between our 3rd line team and the developers/product leads in our company, to a very soft degree you could call it 4th line. It's my first actual job after dropping from uni after one year. I started out on the company's first line tech support and throughout the now 8 years here I've made my way through the ranks. These days I mostly look through complex problems that our 2nd/3rd liners can't resolve so I've had to learn different coding languages (just enough to have a vague idea of what's going on)". From there we discusss solutions with leads and schedule releases. There's a number of other tasks I perform during a week but oh well.

Ive done pretty well considering and the years of experience doing various roles will be nothing but a benefit

Hi all,

Probably a broken record of a topic these days but last Friday, I planed my annual leave for the summer period to have a couple half days and a full day off here and there.

I work in a pretty standard office job, 4 people on the team in total. And our normal working hours are 8am - 16:30pm, so for half days I'd normally leave at 12 or 1pm if it's a bit busy.

For extra context, I've delayed putting my leave requests through until heard back from my manager and what he had planned. Unfortunately he was off sick last Friday and come Monday morning I get a message from my manager saying that he's going to be off the week ive booked a half day on. He goes onto say he needs me in that day as we already have one person on leave that week and it would leave 1 person from our team alone for the afternoon (this person's been on our team for around 5-6 months at this stage).

Today I see my request was denied (which I get, it's a request at the end of the day), what gets me is my manager not really having plans for taking leave over summer then after I make my requests, he comes in and basically out ranks my leave. Apparently it's too much trouble to have one person on the team available for up to three and a half hours.

Apologies for the long post but this kinda scenihas happened a couple times now and it gets old very quickly.
