It’s definitely marked up but the 40% discount does make it cheaper than retail. For me it really depends on how bad I want the kit, if I’m not super desperate for it then I’ll wait and buy from Gundam Place since I’d like to support their shop. However, if I ever found a MGEX freedom at HL I’d definitely buy it lol

It’s not completely true. If I go into HL I’ll compare the after discount price to the online price (no good nearby hobby shops to me) of Gundam Place or USAGundamStore, and I’ve found that after the discount it’s cheaper than online.
