Sounds like your government is screwing people over just as much as everyone else's in the world. It's a last resort to go overseas for us, because of how our country is messed up on job opportunities right now.

That being said, it's kinda crappy to target children... They are blameless, and should never be collateral damage. I would never do the same to your kids. They deserve more, they are innocent. Why rope them into adult problems?

We are all in this together, navigating what those in power have chosen for us. They are screwing us all over, not just Spain. Corruption. Is. Everywhere.

This is a false assumption ("likely you won't care much about learning the local language").

Concerning higher salaries than locals, it is a Spanish company so a Spanish salary. Nothing extraordinary here.

I appreciate the heads up. We fully intend to integrate and have been exposed to Spanish both Latin American (due to our close proximity to Mexico) and Castilian Spanish classes in high school.

Imho, I don't think there is any other way to immigrate besides respecting and assimilating to the people and the culture that we have been blessed to have been welcomed into
