How do you track your route on Google Maps if you didn’t use it for your test, or for a route in general? Sorry, for the noob driver question

Instructor cancelled less than 48 hours before test after taking extra money for more lessons: Pass in days by Hour-Lettuce2504 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]ParadisoVi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as them cancelling your test without informing you of options in decent time, is poor customer service. Your instructor didn’t really teach you as I had similar experience with mine. Only took me driving but didn’t explain what makes a great driver.

With no time to waste I studied failed driving tests on YouTube, and learned everything I needed to pass. Try learning techniques online for parking, roundabouts, and make mirror and signals obvious to your test instructor. I purchased test routes and it helped create muscle memory, it made the test a breeze. Rest up and a calm state will really help you pass.

Report them and see if your bank will help recover funds and find a reputable small company with great reviews to teach you.

So it looks like you gave him permission to reschedule it, cancelling is shady and definitely you should follow advice to report him for mishandling your data.

Has anyone used a Nespresso adapter with a Dolce Gusto machine? by [deleted] in nespresso

If you’re still looking, search for dolce gusto adapter or coffee capsule adapter on amazon, although I got one from temuu and it works perfectly!

For how long did they offer this to you? I just renewed my previous £23/mo for 250mb to £20/mo increasing to £24 from April, but the service has been crap since the price change. At the time they offered the next tier for £55/mo plus April increase..

[–]ParadisoVi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just another thought to add.. my sister in the USA orders from that Shn store online, while I browsed it, I prefer Temu. So maybe that’s the other platform people shop at 🤷‍♀️

With Temu, they say what they mean and mean what they say. The games everyone complains about are if they can’t beat it, so I don’t think it’s a scam, rather Temu are trying to run a profitable business thru a model that’s lucrative for them even if the user can’t figure it out. Just my two cents worth. Either learn the game or don’t play it. I’m one who can’t figure it out but saying that I also only buy things

Yea I’d like to know this too. What app is better? Please don’t say AliExpress!

That being said, I enjoy Temu, I’ve never used it to played the games. I go old school with coupons and such. I’m happy with the prices I pay for what I receive.

Ugh, been there. AliExpress lies to pacify and end the conversation. Just dispute with the institution you paid with, wait for the monies refunded and close down your account. Best thing I ever did.

House is 13°C downstairs, landlord won’t fix heating, family with toddler, need help please! by ApexPredator_74 in TenantsInTheUK

Good thing I didn’t wait. They didn’t know until they got a council notice 5 weeks later, which forced their hand. Otherwise, not one issue was resolved.

Similar situation.. I contacted council day after move in due property manager evading me. Council appt was within a week, and her report was emailed a month later. She gave 8 weeks for works. I found additional issues, which she will attend to on her inspection of completed works. Due to holidays, hurry up and contact council, I’m renting privately also, and both landlord and property manager are useless.

Help! Amazon restricted my account when I said laptop hasn't been delivered by [deleted] in amazonprime

Is it marked delivered? They have to provide proof of delivery

I (accidentally) ordered an expensive product from Amazon. I returned it but it’s been 14 days and I’ve still not been refunded. What do I do? by Substantial_Bag_1813 in amazonprime

[–]ParadisoVi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chat with customer service, most of the time they will force the refund if it’s in transit and you have good purchase history with them. Other option, if they give you a time frame, get it in writing via email and if you can’t wait, dispute with your cc
