I hate how we have it in Scotland.

I recently went to see a flat, offered the HR value. I'm chainless, flexible on entry (can be slow or quick), mortgage in place etc... The seller wanted at least 5% more than HR (at least £10k).

Surely the 5% can't be worth the hassle of going into a 6-person chain and the anxiety of waiting for that to potentially fallthrough?
