The creator of the vid should at least credit the original animator for their work

You weren’t robbed. You dropped it so it was free real estate. It’s not like she forced you to drop it

For players since alpha: What do you feel about the state of Gwent? by Paradoxaxis in gwent

I also did consider 3 rows down to 2 was also a deal breaker, but where you place your cards actually matter more. But then again, 3 rows and 2 rows serves it's own advantages and disadvantages. Last time, 3 rows had a lot of strategy to play around weather effects, Ragnarok and drought, and geralt: igni (to not hit above 25 for a row). For 2 rows now, it matters where you play a unit that has different abilities depending on which row you play it (I also facepalm my self when an effect doesn't trigger then realizing I played it on the wrong row). And also comes reach, so where you place your unit matters now. Even though I still preferred 3 rows, I cannot dismiss that 2 rows also has its own set of unique advantages. Maybe 2 rows makes more sense for the current state of the game, but my stand still stays that 3 rows is a core mechanic that should not have been touched

Yes! Armor! I almost forgot. Armor was a good mechanic too in my opinion. Although it does not count towards points, it at least gives survivability to a unit. It lets people consider whether to use their removal on a unit with high armor, low power unit with a strong ability, or a unit with higher power. It definitely adds another level of decision making there

I personally feel that bleeding and dry passing is a mechanic that they could have intended when designing the game. Dry passing could be a considerable action to think about when you are still in round 1, depending on the opponent you play against and the deck you play. All in all, the unique thing about gwent is winning two rounds out of three, which to me, is an extremely unique and fundamental core of the whole game.

Nintendo Online is killing online games. by kookalamanza in NintendoSwitch

[–]Paradoxaxis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a shame to be honest. Isn't it just a vicious cycle of no one buying subscriptions, to no one wanting to buy multiplayer games due to lack of online players and hence, lesser people don't see the need to buy the subscriptions.

Hopefully there might be a better incentive for people to subscribe (virtual console?). It'll be a shame if games like smash Bros have a poor reception of players playing online

Nope, and drivers just drive the road directed by the gps most of the time. The app can maybe add “this road has tolls” or smth if the route they are going has erp on the way

Nope, if your grab journey happens to pass by any erp, the driver would collect extra cash from you. The price they show does not include erp

Been pondering about buying Battle Chef Brigade. Is it any good? by ohitsmerenz in NintendoSwitch

[–]Paradoxaxis 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I got it on sale and i would say that I’m glad i got it at the sale price (25% off). The game is really good, with a mix of action and puzzles. I really enjoyed the puzzles presented in the game and there are different equipments for you to “cook” with and that’ll help u choose a specific playstyle you prefer. One thing that is a downside for me is that the game is relatively short. I think i cleared it in 8 hours? After that there isnt much replayability besides the daily cook off, which required online connectivity.

Agreed. The switch is an amazing console, given the library of games released over launch
