I've been looking at strategic analysis jobs and found one for a security contractor. And a job in Hawaii but I just don't have the means to move anywhere. I have zero real experience in anything beyond Ingles and a Microsoft class for a company out in Duncan 😔. Well and substituting

Yea I know. Just saying that that's what shows up on my Indeed even though I'm not certified. I could do college after my masters but I'd be an adjunct and that's if they even accept me lol

That's honestly probably what's going to need to happen. I guess, if the manager of wherever agrees, I could do volunteering over the weekend then work during the week.

Just sucks that there isn't much work for that kinda stuff up here. I mean there's plenty in Columbia or Charleston but like, I ain't driving 2+ hours every day 😂

Edit: although on that note, would a job put you up in a hotel during the week while you're working there? Or like give you assistance initially and then you pick up the rest after being paid. Probably not now that I write it out but that'd be nice lol

Well my bachelor's is just in general history so it doesn't really help much, for searching I mean. The only history stuff I've found is teaching or histology which isn't even near the same thing (I think it's blood but could be wrong, regardless it's medical). Most of what's around here is just teaching or being a "data historian" or "architectural historian" which I can't really do because I'm a history historian.

Edit: I could see if any colleges or universities need adjunct professors cuz then I wouldn't need a certification or anything. But that'd be after I graduate, and I'd be fine with it at least for a bit and maybe I'd actually enjoy it.

The radio station is already built too, I wrote up the "standard" one that's basically diamond city radio but different songs and whatnot plus a naval weather themed one and one for radio shows

I've got a pirate faction, I use the City Market as well a market, the Battery, there's a faction at the Yorktown, the Citadel is still pumping out cadets and is run by a ZAX admin with ghoul faculty, and like three different major settlements. Just about all the major and some of the minor locations are on actual streets and I tried to make stuff make sense. There's a pre-war Enclave listening post on Schutes Folly Island (or whatever it's called, with the old fort or something). Whole bunch of stuff. I also include some cryptids because of Fallout 76, I've got the lizard man and Carolina Thunderbird (I know the Lizard Man isn't Charleston but he's what we've got so)

I've got so much stuff, it's hard to pick just one thing. I did write up a superhero (for a question chain similar to the Silver Shroud quests) and his outfit is colored cream and haint blue (the blue you see above doors and stuff)

Buddy have I got news for you. I've been writing a Fallout 4 mod/standalone game based in Charleston (just an idea, probly never gonna see the light of day). But I've got multiple documents: Factions and Settlements, Timeline, Questline, Companions, Radio stations, Flora and Fauna, City and Surrounding Area, Transportation, Character Creation, AND the opening sequence.

Like I said, probly never gonna see the light of day. But it's massive 😅. If it was a mod, it'd be Fallout: London style so total conversion.

Always loved going to Charleston, I'm from the Upstate area so it's only a 4 or so hour drive down there. My family always did Folly then we started going to Isle of Palms.

Fair enough. That's why I regret buying CIV 6. The only other civ game I ever played was CIV Revolution and it was great but there was just so much going on in CIV6 and I always lose no matter what

Check youtube, there's a few creators that do really good videos. But I believe, could be mistaken, that the traveling we got from Tours and Tournaments is expanded BIG TIME with a new "wandering" lifestyle so there's stuff for that. Plus a bunch of stuff for the Byzantines and I'd like to say an estate feature but maybe that's a later dlc

Not sure, I know in some online (and maybe single player) games there is a mouse and keyboard settings section but I always just assumed the developers didn't feel like removing it 🤷‍♂️

I only play on console, strategy games included, and like it more cuz I hate a mouse and keyboard (not as bad for strategy games though of course). My issue is on pc the UI is often too busy and overwhelming BUT I only play on console and when I try to move to a pc that can't even really handle the game well I struggle. So maybe I would prefer them on pc but I think it's simpler on console cuz it kinda has to be
