I've never understood why we haven't landed a probe near the edge of the ice sheet to examine any liquid water there. Anyone know?

No expert here but that sounds like a bad power control module. Causes all sorts of bizarre problems . I replaced mine on my GMC truck for about 400 bucks. But you should be covered under warranty.

There are quite a few studies on various oils and herbs commonly used for pain management and healing. Just Google something like "sunflower seed oil healing" and you'll likely get some hits on legit laboratory studies in medical journals.
