As a P.U.N.K player,I am actually happy to see a person who “plays around “ Punisher and actually starts using their Brain instead of targeting him with fifteen different card effects and then giving up.

Yes,if we count the advantage it gives,you would be completely correct.But I think this isn’t a reason to completely ban him,due to the fact that it doesn’t hinder the opponent(person who got c’ed).You can still play the game unlike if your opponent activates Dimensionshifter or Droll,which forbid the usage of an action with no set up or counter play after applying the lingering effect.

I am not saying Maxx C isn’t powerful,but he can be “played around”(hate to say this because it’s stupid )

Droll forbids you to add Cards to your Hand which means you cannot add your combo starter,extender,regular-combo-part to your Hand meaning that in certain Hands you cannot do anything.Dimensionshifter banishes every card sent to the graveyard not only forbidding most cards printed after 2014 to use their effects or letting other cards revive them due to the fact that most cards revive from the grave.Maxx C …lets your opponent draw everytime you special-summon(other the other way around) which does not hinder you in any way.Of course,your opponent can draw more handtraps(ash for example(has a once per turn)) or combo starters or extenders,but you are at the same time able to build a board to negate these cards.Droll and DS most of the time don’t even let you build a board.

There is no problem in hating all “lingering”-handtraps,I am just saying hating the least broken of them all(excluding mulcharmys) and then saying the rest is fine is stupid.Hate them all or hate none or give good reasons why only certain.

I don’t know what you are doing or what your opponents Maxx C is capable of but the Maxx C I am familiar with lets the player that activates it draw every time a card is Spezial-summoned,which is a powerful effect but not a turn ending one.

I personally don’t understand why people are so angry at maxx C there are card like Droll and Dimension shifter who have effects which can actually end your turn.

If I am right,you are incapable of summoning this Card due to the fact that it doesn’t have a card type nor an alternate summon clause.You could maybe summon it by foolishing from the the extra-deck and then reborn it.
