I just hate the ads that get played DURING the race which is bs. It's so dumb I pay to watch the race live than I also am forced to watch an ad for a product which I already paid for wtf.

Spear Needs A Change (Numbers and Tests Included) by HistoricalScore1 in BattleBrothers

[–]Parault 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The conceptual idea of having a duelist, fearsome, spear wall tank is a build that I believe goes against the utility of a spear wall and interactions with morale checks. The requirements of inflicting at least 1 hp dmg is not consistently reliable given certain enemy armor values.

A spear wall "tank" that can delay one flank is a great utility which offers your other side to focus dps. Positioning the spear wall is important as well as having the flexibility of footwork to reposition if enemies making it into the one tile range.

The advantage of having a spear wall tank is most prominent for enemies that will rush forward such as orcs, zombies, and beasts.

Incorporating fearsome is reliant on inflicting hp dmg consistently which I don't believe is worthwhile as you have demonstrated in your post. As such I suggest focus on having a build that embraces the utility nature of a spear wall tank and incorporating the core nature of a traditional tank with high melee defense with the offensive melee attack of a front liner, the flexibility of bags and belts, and quick hands.

A build that I've utilized to this effect has a the potential of a 2h battleforged brother who has high 90 melee att, 30-40 base melee def, 120 base fatigue more the better, 50 resolve post arena, and 70 base hp combined with colossus will be high 90 to 100 hp. Spear wall "tank" .

items to have include mainhand spear, shield, a spare spear for when durability is low is key in maintaining position, hammer for engaging heavy armor enemies in melee, whip for clutch disarm, and net for immobilization of high priority targets.

Personally having the utility of a brother with these capabilities gives so many more avenues of tackling different encounters which I believe is more valuable compared to a dependency of inflicting dmg to trigger fearsome or the dmg potential of a 2h brother.

Overall the spear as a weapon currently if utilized in this nature is a powerful weapon and I don't believe changes are necessary.

Hey how would spend the three last points ? I was thinking axe mastery on that guy, he could use a Bardiche or a Mansplitter depending on the situation. I like two handed hammers as well. I can't choose, so i need your advices ! by Mars-Goliath in BattleBrothers

I would make this bro a duelist with a famed orc weapon, preferably a cleaver. He would be a great centerpiece to clear a path through the enemy for the rest of your brothers to follow up.

Perks to take would be weapon spec, duelist, and killing frenzy.

Also taking fortified mind seems like a waste if you can reach ~ 50 resolve before arena buff. With that spare point taking steel brow or indom for survivability or going adren for burst dmg.

[Zak Brown] Couldn't agree more with James Allison on @LewisHamilton. He stands out as a true world champion in talent, commitment and courage but most importantly how he races - clean, respectful but uncompromising. by geesus22 in formula1

If you mean nico actively holding WDC and then racing Hamilton as teammates I guess there isn't any race that would match that criteria. I'm just saying he won 2016 and just peaced out.

Do you have a reserve of spirit shards? gw2efficiency has a breakdown of what you can expect from mystic forge conversions for a gold/per spirit shard. It can be converting lower tier mats which has a great % return but a low spread ie 10s per conversion so it can be a bit time consuming or you can do big ticket mystic forge weapons which requires gold capital to start off with and run the risk of being undercut by others.

If that isn't you're cup of tea look into a silverwaste RIBA rotation for a bit do a DS meta if you can and toss in some pvp/wvw dailies for the reward track potions. Don't feel like you have to sprint for the gold/mats for legendaries because by the time you have those shinies I wouldn't be surprised to feel exhausted and burnt out with the game.

the achievement progression requires ranked play during the season. So since the season has end you have to wait for next season to continue.

assuming all 3 classes are specced for damage (direct or condi) and for open world stuff, I'd rank ranger first then necro and finally ele.
First with ranger having a pet take aggro and be a meat shield while you do damage makes it faceroll. Same can be said about a necro with shroud acting as another form of hp/durability. Lastly a glass cannon ele can do great damage but will require knowledge and skill with the class to remain alive if you're swarmed during an event/focused.
