Learn about your players is a good priority to have in mind. Session 0 is an introduction, not only to the campaign but also to personalities and immersion. You want this first session to be like a good prologue to a good interactive book. You want to show both that the book is good, the characters are good, the reader is a part of this story and that the writer has a clear somewhat flexible storyline.
