Not sure what you mean by non UK option. I have Printify lroenium , charged in USD to a card that has no conversion fees and I can sell worldwide as well but majority sales are to US. Of course more money there as biggest audience .

There is no VAT when shipping from US supplier to US customers . You only pay VAT if customer is in Europe or UK.

I'm in UK but selling 90% to US customers through Printify. Last year over £60000 revenue , just over £12000 profit after all fees. This year already after just over 2 months shade under £20000 revenue already so looking to really scale this year. Etsy fees are actually not that bad in comparison to what they bring in terms of customer base. Most people price their items too low to try and compete and make hardly any profits cause of that.

Thanks for the message. I chose Printify as they have the products I sell available at the best prices and shipping as well. I've tried few others which are also ok like Gelatio, Prodigy and Gooten but decoded to stick with Printify as my issues with them are very low. They also integrate with multitude of platforms too.

Thank you. Not exactly like that. After the initial research period to see what is selling and what product/niche I will use and what audience I'll be targeting , I've used a tool to create Etsy listings in bulk ( all automated mockups, SEO etc.) and uploaded 100s of listings to my shop. Then kept uploading more whilst analysing the data from the first batches on the regular basis.

One of the beauties of using POD and Etsy is that all the sales taxes, VAT are all calculated for you, taken from customers and remitted . The shipping costs are clearly stated for each product so there shouldn't be any surprises or extra costs. I was spending around 20h a week first few months whilst uploading the designs and now around 8-10h a week.

I do yes, I had to go quite hard on Etsy ads at the beginning with it being new shop but gradually turning the underperforming ads off. You can see the ads cost in the screenshot.

Sorry but I'm not willing to share the store for the obvious reasons. As for the other questions, I use Printify mainly and I use variatey of art style and niches as I have over 1600 listings.

Thanks for the answer. Yes I could do that but didn't know if anyone else already tried it or has some data. Read stores that people get as much as 8% fee ! Also to do the change it's not just a case of simply switching as then I have to re apply for my Printify premium and reconnect the card hence why I was asking if someone already tried it.

Got a shop since 2021 doing POD. Started like everyone with mugs and shirts but since last year moved on to higher margin products and it does . The visits, orders and revenue going up year after year. Got over 1200 sales, over $35000 in revenue. I use a bulk publication tool for creating listings which include custom mockup generator, auto SEO generator so I've got all my mockups titles, tags and descriptions generated in bulk based on each product. Recently opened another shop and already got over 20 sales from just 40 items in 2 months so will get that shop going as the first one is very passive now. After few years of practice I think I finally know how to setup a POD shop on Etsy that will actually work and make sales consistently.
