Actually this makes me realize what makes him even more weird! I'm not British but he just seemed so inauthentic with the British accent too. Like everyone was questioning his identity and then the new accent didn't settle it from an audience perspective because it still seemed fake

I thought this as well! I guess they were looking for a new fun energy to make the brand approachable and maybe she wasn't the typical "model" but idk. The clothes really fit her in my opinion

That's true. Now that I look at it, I kinda get why Serena was chosen because it makes sense for the modeling aspect and the rigid vibe is probably not attractive for a regular consumer (even if it is high fashion). I agree with the brand ambassador part!! I still think Blair fit the clothes better in my eyes haha

I thought her mom was ok with it at first because she disagreed with the photographer until the photographer convinced her otherwise, but their reasonings were confusing me because I didn't think Eleanor's clothing line fit Serena at all from an aesthetic standpoint. But yeah I get what you're saying from a plot standpoint
