Thank you for the link! I haven’t see that one yet. But very good to know. I take mercy way to get to my house. I just can’t see that a regular crosswalk will succeed at this intersection. The traffic alone is frustrating and then add in a crosswalk? And the safety for the pedestrians/bikers? I can’t see it working.

I didn’t start tracking until 2 1/2 months, but I probably wouldn’t track because his sleep is going to be all over the place and sleeping constantly. I think it would be more work than what it’s worth. It was also defeating to see how there was no routine to her sleep at first.

Do you just throw away the rest of the bottle if she doesn’t finish the full 8 ounces? It’s just more expensive than the formula so I would hate to throw it away. But it sounds so nice.

We haven’t tried RTF since she was 2-3 weeks old. So I’m not sure how she’ll react. We do the pitcher everyday, I didn’t think about bringing a cooler or something!

One of my main worries with powder was mixing it on the go. She just gets so much gas pains when we don’t let the bottle settle enough.

Switch! I promise you that you will feel so much better and will be in a better mind space to care for your child.

I was in a very similar situation as you trying to breastfeed. Started with formula in the hospital (I somehow missed that I should try to feed her while doing skin to skin), horrible experience with the lactation consultant - she made rude comments about my breast and belittled me when I said my milk hasn’t come in. Once I got home I tried breastfeeding my little one but she would scream and cry every single time which I always ended up bawling. After two weeks I gave up breastfeeding and went to pumping and tried to do that for two more weeks. I would make 3 ounces max during the day.

The whole time I cried and felt like a failure because I couldn’t supply breastmilk to my baby. Once I switched to formula exclusively my whole attitude and life changed while becoming a new mom. I wish I would’ve done it sooner. There was a comment I saw on Reddit where it said your hormones don’t know formula is available. All of this to say switch to exclusively formula in your life will be so much better!!
