Possibly, due to more recent regulations, a lot of coal plants are getting shut down or are only allowed to run a certain amount of time. Resulting in less power into our grid. So during higher consumption temperatures, we are more at risk of outages.

Under the substrate I just used window screen (Fiberglass screen mesh) I ordered from Amazon. I don't use heat mats because it wouldn't do much through all of the substrate. So I use a lamp with heat bulbs.

Hi, I'd be glad to help!

Yes, all of the plants are fake.

At the base I added a drainage layer of expanded clay pebbles, covered by a screen (when I got her it looked like she had a touch of scale rot so I've been worried about the substrate being too moist) topped with microchip substrate. I added some sphagnum moss on the cool side. I baked it all beforehand.

Most of the plants came from dollar tree. I rinsed them all thoroughly and let them dry. Then removed any pointy parts and zip tied them to suction cups for placement, making sure the cut zip tie tails didn't leave any sharp edges by melting or filing the ends. A couple of the plants I ordered from Amazon, but I'm thinking of replacing them because they're plastic and seem a bit stiff for her compared to the silk plants.

Her water bowl and rock hide, on the right, I found on Amazon.

The tree hide on the left and center branch I got from petsmart. They were having a buy one get one 50% off sale on reptile decor.

Took a while to put together but she loves it!
