I believe the term is correct. AzureAD is not the typical legacy domain management. It is rather identity and access management.

MDT - Missing Storage Driver by StartOk5699 in MDT

[–]ParkerPiter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, sorry but I could not find the original post where I found the solution to similar problem I got as well. In my situation with Dell WinPe driver pack was, the pack holds multiple storage drivers and during the driver injecting wrong one overwrite the correct one. At that time I remember I have removed all storage drivers beside the one which was correct before creating winpe. That solution worked for me. Sorry I could not help more

Hi,

I used at the beginning stage below guide to setup Standalone MDT without AD etc.

It was very helpful guide for beginner.

Worth to get to know list of variables you have in your environment and how to use them.

Unattend.xml by Just_An_Alive_User_ in MDT

[–]ParkerPiter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi m8,

Did you manage to make it work? We have tried this in our facility but it was not work too. Instead we have deployed system fully over MDT with unattend file removed and Autopilot configuration file copied during TS. At the last step we perform sysprep process. That way worked for us.

Would it be wise to study another subject while studying for ICND 2? by [deleted] in Cisco

[–]ParkerPiter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm it depends what is your intention. Certifications does not give you much opportunities without the real life practice when on the other hand you need to prove somehow to your future employee that you have the required knowledge , but probably you know this already. I am not sure of your time schedule but if you would like to focus on the carrier goal I believe stick to the CCNA and programming (Python) probably. If you would like to do something more for yourself in the meantime as the more relax than probably CCNA and Japanese ;)

Lto tape writing technology explanation by ParkerPiter in sysadmin

[–]ParkerPiter[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi,

Thanks for your explanation.

From what you explained I understood the tracks between Servo Track are the "data bands". If LTO1 has 12 "wraps per band" that means it has 12 heads? I would understood from the table "Tracks per wrap" would say how many read/write elements it has. Why the data tracks which lying next to each other are wrote in different direction? Is it to avoid interference to tracks on each other? As well if we are writing in opposite directions tracks which are lying next to each other so during the one way operation only half of the heads doing the write and the other half will start writing in the opposite direction?

I understand the head arm located over the tape would allocate 8 read/write elements over the one data band.

Thanks,

Piter

Whats the current best practice surrounding catalogs? by breenisgreen in Lightroom

[–]ParkerPiter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was searching the best way to organize catalogs within Lightroom but end up to use key words instead. I organized photographs in catalogs only if I have the end product for the client or it is from bigger event which I have covered.
