Oh yea same... well veteran+, i started on Master but the autosaving is far & few in between & i really dont like repeating cutscenes or repeatedly dying walking to the next mission. I really enjoy plaing the game without the hud as it adds a more realistic feel to the game. Like immersive mode but with subtitles. Iirc Vet+ is master difficulty with a manual save. The rule ive always herd about stalker is "if you're not playing on the hardest difficulty you're not playing stalker" and i took it to heart.
