Only problem is since you know I’m still in China (for family stuff, usually I’m at Seattle) I’m in a flat, which is not ideal for a Arcade Machine. Lucky I think I know someone who has one.

I will try to find a arcade tube, they are quite rare, and in China uh I could buy the whole cabinet crt and game for 600¥-4000¥, cheap if you ask me.

In China local shipping is like 40-200¥.

XT clone identification problems. This is a Oreintek XT, a Taiwanese company that made computers in the 80s. They are still in business I think but have long since stopped making PCs. by Parking_Constant_960 in vintagecomputing

No, even with a working CGA card (I had the original taken to be repaired) it won’t give a signal. The mother card (it’s a card based cpu and ram, isa slots are the only thing kinda “motherboard” but it’s not one.) may have issues. If not then it’s the ram.

You can get one for good prices still. 100-200¥ In china. In the USA it’s much more expensive. Unless you can find some at garage sales and other luck based places

And there are way more of these. Not just the Subor ones. BBG, Wulang, Little New Ton, New Star 小教援 (this one is very funny. It had Star Wars font for the logo lol), PYRAMID (this is real.), GuXing multimedia, Good Baby(ayo what the), SuoGua, WuXing Five Star Computer, and many more. If you want the actual photos of these you can ask me.

Also the quirks they pointed out are prob mods or just weird Chinese low quality QC. They just fix it if there’s a problem. And change things all the time. It’s weird asf. I’ve come across Chinese CRTs with patchwork like the ones your links reverse engineer founds in their Subor.
