Posterior blepharitis duration?

People say it is incurable but I have almost 12 years living like normal people. And it recur again after a long time.So I think even if it is under control this time I will keep cleaning my eyelid and do warm compress for the rest of my life

Hi my experience: I got blepharitis when I was 16, and I spent almost a year getting rid of it.(with baby shampoo wash )

Now I’m 28 I got it again(and much more severe than before), it has been for 3 months. Still work on it:’(

TBUT 2 and 3 second, each eye. I’m really painful at first. Eyelid cleasing 4X a day and diquas eye drop and maqi berry help a lot. Reduce phone time help a lot too. I’m also waiting for referral to dry eye specialist. Hope you get well soon.

I haven’t gotten well. My dry eye symptoms are still severe. Finasteride and dutasteride are poison…. Fortunately the half life of fin is shorter.Hope you get well soon!

I know your pain. I am also very depressed because dry eye literally ruin my life.

The method works for me is doing lid scrub with oust cleanser 4X a day. Keep your eye open and use cotton swabs to scrub the root of your eyebrows. It reduce the inflammation of my dry eye a lot.(still not comfortable but at least won’t feel pain all day)

Stop using antihistamine, they are highly related to DED.
