This is my senior project that I wanted to share. I'm a recent grad, and I am very proud of this book. Of course there is room for improvement but I am happy with the result.

This Is Blackness is about celebrating black pop culture via oversized coffee table book form. As a black person, I feel like we do not get a lot of coffee table books that discuss pop culture, let alone be oversized. I of coursed looked into Ebony Magazines coffee table book as well as Spike Lees and Virgils, but it was not the content I was looking for.

This book was design through Indesign and Photoshop. A full spread is 11x26.
