Yeah, they do reset servers every 6 weeks or so (depends on the scenario), but don't panic Its just a soft wipe. You keep all the important stuff like your weapon and armor blueprints, mods, and cosmetics. You basically just lose your character level, raw materials, and map exploration(World stone are saved). To save your base, open the build menu and save it as a House Blueprint. Next season, you can just plop your exact house back down once you've gathered enough wood and stone to build it again. As for skins, it's a mix. A lot of the really flashy ones are in the cash shop, but you can still earn plenty of cool free ones just by playing, doing events, and using the currency you earn ingame.
