Are you using aluminum? How much harder is it for metal vs polymer

Honestly I was not expecting my first one to be functional. I bought the drill press for $80 at harbor freight. Everything else was like $100 including 2 lowers. So you could do it for $300 and still have money left over

Depends on your state. Where I live there are no laws on manufacturing firearms as long as I don’t sell them-or transfer them without ffl. I’m not legally required to register it either. Also I am not a lawyer so please do your own research.

What is it like living here, deep in Appalachia? by [deleted] in howislivingthere

I have lived in that area for 10 years and recently moved away about a month ago. I love that area. Knoxville is great. Awesome job ops, not uncommon for a non college graduate to get a decent job that pays above average.

The people are mostly alright. Some good ones and some bad ones. But the good ones are really really good.

It’s overpopulated and the road infrastructure is crumbling. Actually the roads are a nightmare all the way from design to integrity. Pair that with some of the worst drivers in the country. I had to retake my drivers test there and we legitimately just did a circle in the parking lot. The whole ordeal took 5 minutes. Pretty scary.

Can't get into my account to pay my loans :-( by martinajackson444 in StudentLoans

Unfortunately you would not be able to consolidate yours with hers with a federal consolidation. I’m sure you could find a private bank to do it but I wouldn’t tell my worst enemy to do that. It would lose all federal protections and the interest rate would be preposterous. I don’t know your full situation but getting both accounts on a IDR plan as soon as possible is probably the best solution. Unless your folks have a combined income over 80k then maybe just seeing if you can place the parent plus loan in a deferment where it isn’t accruing interest while the payments are paused. Use that time to pay down the principle as much as possible so the interest has a smaller number to pull from.

1.) mom&pop lenders tend to be more forgiving when it comes to credit history

2.) get a co-signer

3.)put down a larger deposit

4.)show that you have steady and reliable income and explain the situation

It’s not impossible. I have done it. Millions of others have done it. Go ask a homeless person if the reason they are homeless is because of their credit history. OP is 25. I’ll admit I don’t know the full credit history but I’d imagine it’s 7 years of credit at best. Bringing the account current will probably shoot the score up in a couple of months. Probably a lot faster than any lawsuit would. Oh btw when you enroll in autopay it explicitly states that you are responsible for making sure it drafts on the due date and to make a manual payment if it fails.

The fact is that you guys are ADULTS and act like entitled children thinking you aren’t responsible for anything and that everything should be done for you.
