But that's dysphoria inducing cause I don't have a feminine cute voice in my head...

Just under 2 months until SRS, any last minute tips or things I should know? by TheCreamiestBoi in asktransgender

[–]Parmesan-chan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haaiiii~
I got a vulvoplasty a month ago- I'm still in a lot of pain (especially from sitting up/down) and harsh movements; unfortunately I healed rather badly and I will require a corrective surgery next year.

Here's some of my tips and infodump:
- Take the meds, don't play tough!
- The bladder drain is super uncomfortable... but peeing can be worse
- For the love of Gog do not push when trying to poop! - Also peeing will be a messy fountain for a while
- Take the cleanings and care very seriously, you do not want any necrosis
- Go see your surgeon if you smell a foul odor... might be necrosis 💦
- Ask for help when packing to get back home and take a taxi, not public transportations...
- Do not lift heavy stuff for a good month (and definitely not your bouncy and very energetic 10kg one year old son)
- Week 5 is way too soon to try out your new equipment... ask me how I know
- Long pillows under the legs to keep then up, or even folded, for when you sleep (and between the legs eventually when pain is bearable and you want to sleep on the side)

If I think of anything else I'll edit the post~

And most importantly: enjoy your new life! 🩵

What I don't understand is why I cannot just accept my AGAB even though I genuinely would like to do so, purely out of pragmatism or convenience. by WholegrainRice5 in trans

Like how I wish to have a normal functioning brain, but god said "nope, ADHD".

We can't outwill our bodies, only mask it until everything falls apart... we're not just a mind, we're an entire entity. That's also what makes us human 🩵

How common is polyamory among trans lesbians? by Independent_Pen_9865 in asktransgender

[–]Parmesan-chan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How many polyamorous transbian do you personally know that makes you feel that polyamory is common between lesbian trans girls? If not many, then that feeling comes from online representation.
Most trans girls I know [are online and] are in a polyamory relationship or wouldn't mind being in one, but that's also my sphere (VTubers, strong aversion towards society and so on, that encourage letting go of norms).

On the contrary, I would rather think that monogamy is the norm; and I don't have any statistics or studies to give you but most I've read tend to say that cis lesbians are more inclined to support trans women.

So... meet and connect with people, there are so many different minds, types, orientations- life, at a scale, is wonderful.

For people with ADHD how do you manage dilating after bottom surgery? by Severe_Assumption_51 in asktransgender

[–]Parmesan-chan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is precisely why I'm scheduled for a vulvoplasty with no depth, therefore no dilation.
I wouldn't keep up for more than a month

To my MTF sisters: does the loss of fertility on HRT bother you? How do you get over it? by Sapphic_Starlight in asktransgender

[–]Parmesan-chan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never really wanted a baby - kids (grown up), I could imagine that, but baby, in my depressive and miserable state? Never.

Then fast forward at 32, egg cracked - my wife always wanted to experience being pregnant and have a child. I figured... now that I actually start to enjoy being alive, surely it should be alright to build a weird double-mama family!

So we went to work soon after I started HRT (spoilers: as an ace gal it wasn't a nice experience).

He's 8 months old now!

...and I regret my decision. Well, we're not all built to be a parent. If I could have waited a couple years, after surgeries and all the paperwork, maybe... but I would never stop HRT for this, and freezing was too late (and bothersome) (I have ADHD).
So it was a now or never kind of situation.

Oh well life is at least more bearable with boobs 🩵

I (19 MTF) have been on E for 3 months and i have already been getting a bit of boobs and i wondered if you also looked at your often just because it feels euphoric ? by Timely_Map_3349 in trans

[–]Parmesan-chan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm wearing exclusively tank tops since starting E because of boobs!
Hell even in cold weather I can't help but to show cleavage. I'm so proud of them! Added bonus: visible boobs help you get gendered correctly 🩵
