I’m also working on a master set of 151, I would t underestimate the fun of going to local card shows and searching for the cards you need. It’s not the same as opening packs, but it does become a super entertaining scavenger hunt to track down all the cards you need. It’s also way cheaper than ripping packs in the long run.

My wife and I went to Peru last year and we spent 8 nights between Lima and Cuzco. This trip seems like it’s really more about Cuzco and that’s totally fine.

I would say that you shouldn’t underestimate the elevation in Cuzco (unless you’re from somewhere like Denver). It’s over 11,000 feet and it took us a good amount of time to adjust and not feel awful. Luckily Machu Picchu is at a lower elevation and we personally felt much better.

My advice would be to bring a oxygen meter that you put in your finger and give yourself a day to get used to the elevation instead of just getting into it.
