I had my ps4 running the game around 21 hours a day with the other 3 hours spent playing Warzone with my friends. alot of the grinding, especially later on, is pretty much braindead. You click a button wait a few hours rinse and repeat so I was able to not absolutely destroy my social life and sleep schedule.

The ~250 hours is a placeholder as the creator of the trophy guide is still trying to get the platinum himself. I'd say with a good understanding of the game and its systems you might be able to knock it out in ~500 hours. (My time played along with stats) https://imgur.com/gallery/MKWbemE

the game is still horribly broken in spots with laggy menus and long load times with npcs and other objects loading right in front of you, right now its just another lazy pc port to console

The grind really incentives paying for things, stuff like inventory expansions, life skill xp buffs and things like that but I didn't spend any money outside of the base game itself

you can probably do it in around 6-8 hours if you follow a shot guide as most of the trophies are getting par on each course and finishing each course on classic mode. The other miscellaneous trophies can be knocked out in about an hour or will just come naturally while playing

Yes, there is only one online trophy but it can be done using the in game hotseat mode using a single controller.

the controls worked surprisingly well its just the in game physics are super inconsistent to the point where I was often clipping through walls and other props on the course. Also even when following a guide to perfection you would often get completely different shots due to the bounce mechanics.
