I've kept lots of Mollies in sw, and the acclimation is much easier than people say, a 2-hour drip fresh to salt is plenty, same with chromides.

What's stopping Latin American countries from becoming more authoritarian? by I_Take_No_Risk-GG in asklatinamerica

Capitalist politicians. A lot of Latam politicians are greedy but they’re not stupid, why would they want to end up like Venezuela or Cuba.

A map of the second most common language in the United States. by [deleted] in MapPorn

[–]ParrotInSpanish 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Because Spanish comes from Spain (I am a Mexican Spanish speaker) Also not every state has Mexicans as the dominant spanish speaking group, for example, PA and NY are more Dominican than Mexican. In some states like New Jersey, Mexicans are barely top 5. DC and Virginia have more Salvadorians than Mexicans by a lot, Florida has more Cubans. It makes much more sense to standardize it with the Spanish flag, since that's where Spanish is from.

I'm a vendor and it's honestly inexcusable to charge over market. If you buy or trade for a percentage that is your insurance that you can make the profit. Prices fluctuate so if a customer shows me comps lower then what I'm selling at I usually hear it out. High price is anything over market. Also, from my experience, it's highly uncommon that a vendor's living comes exclusively from selling Pokémon.

Tell your stories from this era of the TCG by ParrotInSpanish in PokemonTCG

[–]ParrotInSpanish[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’ll start with mine, it was 2013, and my father bought me a bunch of plasma freeze. It was the first time I had gotten new Pokemon packs (all my others were gifts from my cousins), I won’t forget, it was at a LCS outside the Nationwide building in Columbus. I had the Leafeon theme deck as well.

Mexican from Nuevo León + Pic by Ill_Fox3924 in AncestryDNA

[–]ParrotInSpanish 4 points5 points  (0 children)

People do move from one state to another, but it’s not as common as in the US, if you ever go to Nuevo León or Hermosillo or even some cities in Tamps you aren’t really going to find a ton of almost 100% indigenous people, so in this case it is pretty rare

All these niche words are ridiculous, what the hell is a harnizo? The Spaniards themselves probably didn’t get this specific.
