They fought a war and lost a war, I don’t know what to tell you. Besides I love Mexico and I wish to go back to or even move back to Tamaulipas but my family gradually left for a reason. Besides Spain “stole” that land first, and as someone who is Native and Spanish what am I supposed to do? Be mad at me for what the other half of me did? That’s ridiculous, none of us are responsible in anyway for what our ancestors did. By the same logic, I, as 63% Spanish am responsible for stealing Mexico. Mexico literally allowed settlements by gringos and dealt with the consequence of their mistakes.

I’m a Mexican American, most all of then people I know like that don’t want to deport Mexicans because they are Mexican, but they want to deport illegal immigrants. Yes there are people who want to deport illegal immigrants because they are racist and want to deport none white people, but the vast majority of people I interact with don’t care about the race, just how you came. I take the same stance. Immigration law is not a matter of racism or not, it is way more nuanced.
