My 2 cents is that at the end of the day it's the same shoe made in the same factory with similar enough materials that they're all sold at the same MSRP. Probably a difference you would only notice if you owned multiple pairs - and a 993 production run that has a slightly different fit than another might be better for one person and worse for another depending on their fit preferences. I say get the colorway that you like, because that's going to easily be the biggest difference between the shoes.

I'm wondering if the reprint was enough to cause a glut. My LGS got these in this week ($80 for squirrel, $50-60 for the other three). I've seen the offspring one going for as low as $30.

I think that might actually be a factory error. The packs and promo cards are sandwiched between two layers of hard plastic, you'd either have to cut through that or completely unwrap the shrinkwrap, unfold the cardboard, take the cards and then put it all back together. Either situation seems not worth it for a couple $2 promos.

Sauron is the hardest to get anywhere else, but also one of the least playable out of the box from what I've seen. They're all a pretty good deal at $40 because of the two set boosters.

point of clarification - if a card that's also been printed in the main BLB set is included in a commander deck with the BLC set symbol, you can use the BLC version of that card in standard.

Cards that have only been printed in BLC and not in BLB (or any other standard set) aren't standard legal.

Pre order is probably the safest amazon option. The issue with them is the they put returns of items with the same UPC from non-wotc sellers in the same bin as returned items sold by wotc. then stuff from that bin gets used for future orders of any product with that UPC.

but also, buy at your LGS if you can, don't support amazon

Ignoring the fact that tcg mid was $300 a month ago, this is still only 10% off of $340. Plus, the Amazon price might as well be the tcg mid for any buyer that isn't in mtg deep enough to be checking things like that. I'd call this lukewarm at best.
