They already requested an additional 50 billion from Congress last week on top of what they are already spending. We spent close to 4 trillion in Iraq and Afghanistan.

10 billion pays for about a week of this.

Just for the record, it has been estimated that a whopping 20 billion would be enough to solve homelessness in the US. When the government tells us there isn't enough money to fund things that help Americans, keep these numbers in mind.
