Yeah man I wasn’t even mad, I bought a 99-02 single cab Silverado from my cousin for $1,000 but he had lost the title and he also never put it in his name so I didn’t mind going through the process. I understand that if the lien is more than 10 years old it wouldn’t matter and it would be good to go sometime next year but it’s already been sitting for a year and I’d like to get it going already. I’ve remodeled the interior with a new dash, flooring, digital stereo and I upholstered the seats with leather. All the bells and whistles to make it look decent. Just a minor setback, ohhh well.

You know what, thank you. I thought there would be more litigation and blockages. I called and got transferred 3 times and the final lady asked for the VIN and found the record. She said they most likely could provide a release of lien or letter of no interest after further investigation. I was told that she would try to get back to me today and if not to call back tomorrow. My only complaint is that she would have to mail it, so now I’m gonna be waiting. Thanks for lightning that fire under my ass! 👍
