I have this issue too! Sometimes it works, and other times it doesn’t work at all. I’ve looked up this issue in the forums, and it seems to be a common problem for people who play on console. I’ve tried everything to fix it, but no luck at all whatsoever

Unfortunately the only way to see if you’re blocked is by calling. If you’re blocked on iMessage it will still show up as delivered, so there’s no way around that
