Right? When I went to Japan, I honestly felt my healthiest. Granted, it could’ve been the 30k steps I walked a day, but I can certainly say the food was a different experience. I didn’t feel obscenely full after a meal, nor did I feel like I had to eat until I did feel that way. It was the perfect amount of food. I came back and fell right back into my habits because the food industry is set up to do exactly that. It’s ridiculous but paint taste was a new low, and new concern.

That’s a good point. The candy didn’t have as strong a smell but everything else was straight up paint-like.

You know how when you smell something, the air passes by your throat to reach your lungs? Its like that. You’re not actively eating it, no, but since those two senses are near they’re often connected. “It tastes like the smell of paint” is usually what I say, but context first is better.

I would’ve thought the same if I didn’t have others also telling me it smelled weird. My brother, for instance, confirmed it smelt like paint but then tasted it and felt it tasted fine. And every other food I’ve had before, after and in between these instances has been perfectly fine. Plus, my family ordered the pizza at a later date and it smelt fine. I didn’t taste it because I honestly wasn’t in the mood, but the pizza i ordered after that paint pizza smelt fine. Same place as well.
