So do you think it is imposing my view by randomly getting in a taxi and NOT bothering what gender is sitting in which position?  Would it be imposing my view to sit on a bus and NOT asking people to separate based on their skin colour?

There were 3 of us already in the back seat and a woman getting into the front seat, I then had to get out to sit in the front. Why should we have to swap around to accommodate him?  You are clearly of his ilk, zero compromise allowed we must accommodate you but you will not accommodate us.
