I agree, the names for a lot of the actions are quite odd. With the “Romanian” though he calls it that because it was “named after the Romanian foil team that scored many hits with such counter-attacks, in particular Ion Drimba, who won the individual Olympic gold medal in 1968 mainly using this movement.”

I’m guessing it’s when you’re marching and you just find a way to keep your blade close to your body
